Our story begins with a passion for coffee farming that goes back over 30 years, in Sheema-Uganda. KANGUMAMU AGRO is one of the leading coffee companies in Uganda whose business spans from farming, collecting coffee from farmers, processing until it’s in the cup. At Kangumamu, we source and grow our coffee from the best coffee producing regions in the country such as Mbarara, Kasese, Busoga among others
Our brand is backed by a long family tradition in coffee growing, processing and export that stretches back to 1994, Kangumamu Agro is also one of Uganda’s number one Coffee beans exporter to the world.
Coffee being the third most consumed beverage in the world after water and tea, Kangumamu creates a unique flavor with distinct characteristics for each blend, bringing quality and taste to every drink.

Description: Rikolto is an International NGO supporting smallholder farmers in different agricultural value chains,  including coffee and cocoa. In the region, we have experience in both crops in DRC, and are looking to start up activities in Uganda. Rikolto uses a holistic agroforestry approach, making the smallholder farmer a valuable and resilient part of the value chain. We strengthen their linkage to markets and financial services, while applying Inclusive Business principles. Resilience requires a focus on food security, climate change mitigation and financial literacy.

Description: Latitude is a social enterprise in Uganda producing and exporting specialty cocoa, bean to bar chocolate and cocoa derivatives. The company works with over 5000 certified organic cocoa farmers in Uganda to provide training and a stable market for wet cacao purchased directly from registered farmers at rural village collection points. Latitude operates central fermentation and drying facilities for the production of fully traceable specialty cocoa from several regions of Uganda, supplying chocolate companies in the US, EU and Asia markets. Latitude also produces its own bean to bar chocolate brand (Latitude Craft Chocolate), cocoa powder and cocoa butter at its factories in Kampala for sale in East Africa, US, EU and Japan markets.
