Description: The aim of this project is to develop a vibrant and sustainable cocoa value chain in Bundibugyo district. It is a partnership between the Government of Uganda and the European Union through MARKUP initiative focused at addressing obstacles and challenges experienced in the cocoa value chain in relation to reduced production and productivity, harvest and post-harvest losses, market access and diversification into higher export markets for smallholders. Description: The company supports roasters to find the right coffee for any quality or budget, micro-lot to macro-lot. It works with six cooperatives in western Uganda consisting of over 1,000 farmers. Farmers are provided with beehives and education services as part of the Corporate Social Responsibility strategy.
